In anticipation of Easter, Mia keeps singing Here Comes Peter Cottontail; however, she keeps singing it Peter Cock 'n Tail. Sorry, I know that is inappropriate, but it is so funny when she says it because she does not let us correct her! We keep saying, "Mia, it's Peter COTTONtail," but she's not having it. Her new thing to do when we are out in public is to tell me she has to go potty. As soon as we get in the bathroom, she starts singing as loud as she can. I think she likes the echo. Sometimes she sings Happy Birthday, sometimes it's Rock a Bye Baby, I'm a Little Teapot, whatever. I'm nervous next time we're out that it will be Here Comes Peter Cock 'n Tail!
I've been moving some furniture and decorations around my house lately, and poor Miss Mia freaks out about any change I make. I always have to do it when she's sleeping because it's that much more traumatic when she sees me move something. This weekend I had moved an end table in my living room, and of course she noticed it when she got up from her nap (seriously, this is the child that at 18 months noticed when I changed the color of my toenail polish!). This is what she said when she noticed the end table: "Oh no, Mommy! That does not look very good in there! It's making me sick! It's making me sick - it's making me sad..." I almost fell over I was laughing so hard on the inside, although her poor little face was so red because she was so upset about the furniture being in a different spot. Then today I got a slipcover for a chair and ottoman (and again I had to put them on during her nap), and the first thing she said when she got up and saw it was, "Hey, we shouldn't try this here!" as she proceeded to push the ottoman over to the side. I asked her what she was doing, and she said, "I'm just pushing this over here," like she could not have it in her space. She is definitely over the top.
Sunday morning she informed me that the side of the island was dirty, could she please have a rag (It was so dusty, and I had been meaning to get to it all week - but she beat me to it!). Here she is wiping it down... After that she asked me for some 'spray' so she could wipe down the countertops!!
Every day before her nap, we have to lay Drake down in her bed with her for a few minutes "with the blankets on, too"...

Such sweet little feet - loves the stickers!!

We definitely need to find this girl a belt :)

My little man!!

Not a neat freak like his sister :)
