Oh, where to start??!! We've really enjoyed the Winter-That-Never-Was this year. It has been so great not being trapped in the house for 5+ months this year!! I guess I'll start with some (not-so-)recent pictures!
Mia still loves playing with all her babies and stuffed animals... tea parties, bath time (she will spend 1-1/2 hours bathing them all, 'drying their hair', dressing them, etc.), trips to the doctor...
In the 'car' with his phone headset!
This was at Mia's Hungry Caterpillar play at school. She was the Piece of Chocolate Cake and the Orange. Apparently she likes to 'make the kids laugh at school' - what?!?! 'I always do stuff to make the kids laugh,' she says. They all started cracking up when I went to take her picture and she stuck her face in the hole of her prop...
Bottom row, second from the right...
Drake misses Mia so much when she's at school! I'm always trying to find new fun things to do with him when she's gone. We've been hitting bubble-machine bubbles with the bat recently... a new favorite game of his. Until I ran out of bubbles. :(
Keepin' the sun out!
A few from Easter! She wanted some flowers, haha!
Runnin' to get some eggs!
All filled up!
They love matching pj's. These are from Christmas, but they wear them all the time so they can match together!
She spent the morning 'sorting' - she took all her pop beads and separated them by color. She made Drake help. :) She is my child. :)
We found this gigantic frog in the backyard! The kids named him Hoppy and kept him in a bucket all day. We let him go that night, and the next day they were looking all over for him in the yard. Drake kept pouting, "I miss Hoppy!"
Mia couldn't get enough of the frog. She kept holding him, showing me all his different spots and marks. She was fascinated by the bumps on the bottom of his hands. "Look Mom! He has dots on his fingers, and one big one on the bottom of his hand!" Gross.
This brings back memories of me as a kid. I don't think I was holding too many frogs, but I do remember not too many kids wanting to come over to help me catch spiders. I just couldn't understand why. :)
This is Mia's Zoophonics parade! She was Honey H. Horse, she's there in the middle wearing the horse head.
Waving!
Middle of the bottom row...
She made this for me for Mother's Day coming up. Nail polish, Qdoba (note the logo!), music, Starbucks, and $12 to pay for it all. I'd say that's a pretty good Mother's Day gift. :)
And since daddies don't wear nail polish, she made another one for Brock... Starbucks, music, Qdoba, new jeans, and $12 to pay for it all. :)
Well those are a few snapshots into our world the last few months! Drake continues to crack us up with his sensitive little personality! Every time he does something he knows he shouldn't, he has a total meltdown because he feels bad. Mia always says, "Uh-oh! Here comes the freak out!" He cracks us up. So does she.
Well that's all for now, thanks for stopping by!
