Halloween

Halloween was so much fun for the kids this year.  They are both at such great ages to enjoy it!

Carving pumpkins, don't know what's with the stink face! ...

Brock and I ended up carving the pumpkins while the kids lost interest and played with their toys!  But we got them carved nonetheless.  :)

Mia was Snow White and Drake was a Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle for Halloween.  I had to get his costume online, they don't sell those in the store anymore!!  He is obsessed with Ninja Turtles, I think it's because I let them pick a movie sometimes when we pick up books from the library, and he's gotten the TMNT videos a few times.  LOVES them!

This year, Mia's best friend from school, Ara, and her brother, Harrison, came with us.  They are basically my kids' exact ages, so it works out great for Drake, too!  They were so cute together.

How cute are they?!  Ha!  Harrison lost his Spiderman mask right before they got to our house, so he used his Batman mask as a stand-in.  :)

They were running on adrenaline the entire time, literally running from house to house!

Of course we stopped down the street at Auntie Katie's to see Mason-man!  I love this one of my dad and the kids...

Ahhh, the joys of Halloween when you're a kid!  I almost forgot this little pumpkin Mia made in school at her Halloween party.  Lovin' the hair!

They are already talking about their costumes for next year.  :)

On a different note, I'm always cracking up at the things I find laying around my house.  I found this on Mia's dresser last night...

Hahahaha!

Drake's Birthday and Picking Pumpkins!

I have so many photos to post, so I'm going to post Halloween another day.  :)

I first wanted to post some pics of Drake's birthday party here at the house!  I still can't believe he's already three!  He wanted a Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle birthday party, but since that's not exactly current, we went with Batman instead.  :)  I bought Drake and Cole Batman masks.  They loved them!  Not to feel left out, Mia had on her Rapunzel hair.

They had such a great time hanging out.

Last week, my mom and I took the kids to pick pumpkins at the farm!  Mia was cracking me up - she was wanting to take pictures in all the same places she did last time we went.  Then Drake wanted me to take the same one of him, too.  They are two peas in a pod sometimes!

Poor little guy - a few days before this, he fell off a piece of exercise equipment in the basement and landed on his face.  His poor cheek was so swollen and bruised!!  :(

Haha!  Slightly obscene, I think...

They had a ton of these there!  The kids wanted pics in every one of them, too funny.  We just took a few.  :)

Mia let us know that she did NOT want to go on the hayride.  Gee, ya think?!?!

Funny thing was, when I asked her at dinner what her favorite part of the farm was, she said 'the hayride' - go figure!!

The kids had so much fun.  I love this part of fall, when it's a bit cooler but still nice to be outside.  We are soaking it up while we can!  I'll post Halloween pics soon.  :)  Thanks for coming!
