We saw all my cousin’s kids this weekend as well, and we just tell Mia and Drake all the kids are their cousins (I guess they’d be considered second cousins??!!) Anyways, Mia was like, “Mom, I have way too many cousins. Let’s just stop calling them cousins and start calling them friends, okay?”
Also, our family gatherings tend to get loud. Whose don’t?! While everyone was eating and talking, my little Mia interjects and says, “Guys! How about the girls have a conversation with the girls, and the boys have a conversation with the boys!” Like she was ticked it was getting loud. Oh little Mia. One day she will realize she’s not in charge. Until then!
